While Final Fantasy FanFest took place this past weekend, the company also had presence at he Monaco Anime Game International Conference 2017 (MAGIC). At this event the company unveiled a handful of new images for its two hyped titles.
As always, the images come with little to no explanation or description as Square Enix are still keen to keep is in the dark with both titles. The new screenshot for Kingdom Hearts 3 does however give us a glimpse of the new model for the Heartless. The screen is apparently also set in Thebes.
The Keyblade Sora wields will also have multiple uses thanks to its Power Form, giving it the ability to turn “into a lot of things” according to Tetsuya Nomura, speaking with Gameblog.fr.
As for Final Fantasy VII Remake, the images give us a glimpse at the game’s combat system. According to Nomura, combat will occur without interruption. Scenery in the game will also be destructible when using grenades.
The new images also shows us the Remake of the Scorpion.
It seems like Square Enix want to keep their cards close to their chest. While neither game has a release date yet, we’re hoping to see a lot more of both titles this year, if not an actual release…
