Torn Banner Studios has today announced the start date for the anticipated closed beta for Mirage: Arcane Warfare, the magical spiritual follow-on to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
Set to begin on March 27, players who signed up to the closed beta will be in with a chance of testing out the game early. However, if you’re looking for guaranteed access into the Closed Beta, you can do so by pre-ordering the game.
According to Torn Banner the Closed Beta will pretty much last up until its launch later this year. The game has currently been holding several Closed Alpha weekends focusing on testing the game and getting the balance right.
The Closed Beta however will come with a bunch of content for the first time, including six playable characters, over ten maps for players to cast spells and become the ultimate victor, and skill-based matchmaking as well as a classic server browser.
Those who want guaranteed access can pre-order either the Standard Edition of the game, which also offers the full version of the game, “Bones of the Bygone” helmet pack, and an option to upgrade to a Special Edition. The Special Edition will include all of the above as well as the Original Game Soundtrack, “Honor Masks” Helmet Pack, Welcome Random Drops Package, HD Fan Pack (including wallpapers, propaganda art and a world map), and a copy of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Complete Edition.
To be in with a chance of getting access to the Closed Beta without purchasing the game, head to the Mirage: Arcane Warfare website to sign up.
