Twitch Announces Twitch Pulse

Twitch has this week unveiled a new way for Twitch streamers to interact with their community, Twitch Pulse, a new network that’s similar to Twitter, but for Twitch Streamers.

Twitch Pulse, which is currently rolling out to all users, hopes to be a new way for Twitch streamers to share updates, stream clips, and more to their followers and subscribers. Up until now fans of certain streamers usually have to other social networks like Twitter or Facebook to see updates, now it’ll all be kept in one place.

This new feature will appear right on the front page so you’ll no longer be bombarded with an auto-playing stream (if you’re logged-in, anyway). Here you’ll find updates from everyone you follow, and there seems to be no limit as to what they can share. This also works along side the recently added Channel Feed with posts created on the feed automatically appearing in Pulse too, so those who don’t visit streamer profiles that often will still receive the update.

Pulse will also be rolling out to the mobile app too making this a fully-fledged social effort from the live streaming service.

So there you have it, if you’re an active Twitch user, you can now begin sharing all sorts of stuff through Twitch Pulse.
