Activision has announced that they’ll be bringing back the Variety Map Pack for Modern Warfare Remastered players later this month.
Here’s an idea, let’s re-release some DLC for a game we expected players to spend $80 for the privilege of playing a remastered version of this 10 year old game. That’s right, The Variety Map Pack, which launched way back in 2008 will be making a comeback on PlayStation 4 first later this month for a lovely price of $14.
I’ll be honest, I’m still bitter that Activision packed in the Modern Warfare Remaster with a Legacy Edition of Inifite Warfare, but at the same time I’m also glad I’m not being mugged off by being expected to pay another $14 for some DLC I already own.
Anyway, for those who are happy to keep throwing their cash at Activision, you’ll be pleased to know that the Variety Map Pack includes fully remastered versions of all four maps which launched almost ten years ago.
That includes Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and my personal favourite, Killhouse. As an added bonus, those who pay for the DLC will also receive 10 10 Rare Supply Drops which alone have a value of around $20.
