Gamer Network has today announced that tickets are now available for this year’s EGX event at the NEC in Birmingham which will take place from September 21 to 24.
Powered once again by Virgin Media, EGX 2017 is the tenth anniversary for the event so you can expect some big things. Over the years EGX has become bigger and better than the years prior and has become the leading gaming event in the UK.
EGX is the place to not only find the latest and greatest games, but also be absorbed into the world of eSports, virtual reality, retro gaming, cosplay, and much more. The GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair will also be there to once again offer support for students.
Tickets are available to purchase right now. Virgin Media customers will be able to have access to a limited number of half-price early entry tickets that’ll cost just £10.50 available each day. Multi-day Super Pass tickets will cost £67.50, and standard day tickets will be priced from £19.
David Lilley, Managing Director of Gamer Events, said, “EGX is the UK’s flagship games event, and we’re excited to be taking it further than ever before. With higher capacity we’re able to support still more spectacular exhibits and provide more space for attendees to spend time gaming with friends. Whether you’re looking to play the latest blockbuster, discover an indie gem or learn how to make gaming your career, we’ve got it all. We’ll also be extending the spirit of EGX into the evenings with official parties on Friday and Saturday, working in conjunction with top hip hop turntablist, DJ Yoda who’ll be presenting The History of Gaming show.”
