En Masse Entertainment is bringing their free to play MMORPG to home consoles later this year. Tera, the successful True Action Combat MMORPG will land on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this year giving fans of the genre something new to look forward to.
When Tera comes to home consoles it’ll keep its free to play model and feature everything its PC counterpart has to offer. The game can be played with a controller now, but when it launches on consoles it will include a redesigned and rebuilt control scheme for the best combat experience. The user interface is also seeing a facelift and is being rebuilt with living-room viewing distances in mind.
Of course, the game will keep the core combat experience that makes it so popular today. The True Action Combat, real-time and skill-based gameplay is a perfect fit for home consoles. Plus the mentioned redesigned control scheme will provide a responsive and visceral combat experience.
Tera launched on PC back in 2011 to which En Masse Entertainment CEO, Sam Kim, had to say about moving to new platforms, “We have an amazing and ever-growing player base on PC and we can’t wait to share Tera with a brand new audience on consoles. Everyone at En Masse Entertainment and Bluehole is putting an incredible amount of effort into making sure that console players have the best Tera experience possible, and can enjoy the wide range of content the game has to offer.”
