SOEDESCO has today announced AereA, a music-themed action-RPG that’s also the first game in this new AereA series.
Featuring an original score by the lead composer on BroForce, AereA will entangle players in a rich music-themed hand-drawn world where they’ll unravel the mysteries of the broken floating island of Aezir.
Little details have been released about the game aside from a teaser trailer and a brief description of what players can expect from boss battles:
“Boss battles in AereA promise to be unique and note-worthy as each enemy is modelled on musical instruments, with a corresponding soundtrack playing during encounters. Beware the deathly droning of the Spider’s bagpipes or the beguiling harp of the Griffin.”
The game is also set to feature local-co operative play where players can team up with up to four friends at any time to take down all nine musical instrument-inspired bosses each of which hold one of the nine primordial instruments which have mysteriously disappeared.
This first game in the AereA series is currently under development by Triangle Studios and is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
Hans van Brakel of SOEDESCO said about the announcement:
“Our strategy is to combine the publishing of third party games with first party titles. The AereA-IP is the next step in building a strong portfolio and a great addition to our 2017 line-up.”
