Tekken 7’s DLC Will Feature Fighters from Other Games

Bandai Namco has this week unveiled another “hidden secret” for their upcoming fighter, Tekken 7, one which outline’s the publishers post-release DLC support.

Following Tekken 7‘s June 2 launch, Bandai Namco plans to launch three batches of content for the game that’ll include new modes, costumes, characters, and more. The first batch which is set to arrive this Summer, will include a brand new game mode and more than 50 costumes.

The second and third batches, which will launch in Winter 2017 and Spring 2018 respectively, will feature one “exclusive playable guest character” from other video games licences. These characters will also come with their own special stage and special costumes.

As always, each DLC release can be purchased alone, or all three can be purchased ahead of time with the Tekken 7 Season Pass, which in itself offers 35 exclusive metallic costumes.

In addition to Bandai Namco’s DLC plan, the publisher also revealed that during the year all players on all platforms will receive free character panels which can be used to customise the image during loading screens.

Tekken 7 is set to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 2.
