Originally supposed to be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will now launch March 17. The news comes from developer Nicalis, Inc after they tweeted pictures of the physical copy of the game, fresh off the production line.
The reason for the game’s initial delay is still unclear with the developer stating the game was delayed “for reasons out of our control“. Those who had originally pre-ordered the launch version of the game need not worry as the bonuses associated will still be honoured. Nicalis, Inc stated : “your items are still confirmed, including the instruction booklet!”

Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will contain the original game, as well as 55 new items, a new boss to take down and hundreds of extra levels. And for the masochists among you, there is a brand new hard mode to endure.
This release will continue to solidify Nintendo’s plans to make the Switch THE home for indies. Nintendo recently revealed at their Nindies Showcase that over 60 Indie titles will make their way to the Switch in 2017.
