If you thought the 3DS has had its last day, then think again as Atlus has announced that Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 And Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey will be launching for the console later this year.
This past weekend Atlus announced that two new RPG adventures would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS later this year. The first, Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will be launching on August 31 in Japan and will offer a day-one edition, or first print edition, that’ll come with a two-disc soundtrack featuring songs from the entire Etrain Odyssey series. A 10th Anniversary Box limited edition version will also be launching in Japan and will offer a 200-page art book.
There’s currently no word if Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will land in the west.
Next up, Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey. This game is a remake of the 2009 Nintendo DS release Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. The game will contain full-voice, new graphics, and over 350 demons, as well as other “new elements”. The story will follow protagonist Alex, according to the announcement.
Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey will launch this Autumn in Japan.
Again, no word on whether the game will launch in the west.
