Codemasters has today announced that their 2014 racer, GRID Autosport, will be getting a new lease of life through a brand new mobile release. That’s right, GRID Autosport is coming to iOS.
Courtesy of Feral Interactive, Codemasters’ AAA racing game will be coming to mobile complete with “intuitive tilt and touch controls” to bring the games mix of arcade racer and simulation to mobile.
Unlike other mobile racing games, GRID Autosport for iOS will be given a premium price tag where a single purchase will give players the entire game complete with DLC. The game will also feature all of the features from the main game including various different disciplines from Touring Cars, Endurance, Drift, and Street Racing. A huge range of vehicles will also be available, from the McLaren 12C, GT3, and the Audi RS 5 Coupe.
The game itself will also offer a handful of different controls to the players preference from using the screen as a steering wheel, or making the most of MFi Gamepad support.
Unfortunately there’s currently no release date for the game beyond a “spring” window. More details are to be announced soon.
