To those who are were huge Mass Effect 3 multiplayer fans eagerly waiting for the chance to get into the multiplayer beta for Andromeda, I’m afraid we have some bad news for you. It seems that the beta for home players will no longer be available, despite it being playable at the upcoming convention, PAX East. However, this doesn’t mean it’s all bad news!
The multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3 would grant players fun bonuses such as resources and credits, and it ended up having a whole community of its own. While the new mode in Andromeda won’t have as big of an impact on the core game, it’ll be taking the best parts of the previous game and adding a new spin to it.
Looking at the brighter side of this news, this means that Bioware Montreal – the studio behind Andromeda as well as the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer mode – are working hard on it to make sure that it’s the best experience for players. If it’s anything like the previous multiplayer, then Mass Effect fans are definitely in for a treat! We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled. In the meantime, I’m sure Andromeda will keep Bioware fans satisfied until multiplayer is added.
Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out on the 27th March 2017.
