Uncharted: Lost Legacy Coming In August, New Trailer

Uncharted: Lost Legacy was given a new trailer today which announced it’s release date. Looks like we can expect the stand alone DLC on August 22 for $39.99.

$40 seems a little pricey for a standalone DLC but that could just give you an idea of the quality of content Naughty Dog is delivering here. Looking at the today’s trailer it would seem that Naughty Dog isn’t skimping out on a project not featuring their golden boy, Nathan Drake.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy follows Chloe Frazer this time around and features Nadine Ross from Uncharted 4. If you’ve played through Uncharted 4, Nadine should be a familiar character and might give you a hint to how Chloe’s story here will turn out.

Synopsis from PlayStation.com:

In order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer, Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross (from UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End). Venturing deep into India’s Western Ghats mountain range, Chloe and Nadine must learn to work together to unearth the artifact and fight their way through fierce opposition to prevent the region from falling into chaos.

Personally, I would like to see a game that has people chasing Nathan Drake through his adventures across all of the Uncharted story but these new characters would show up 20 minutes after Drake got there. Which would leave them to find a place totally torn apart and in ruins because of the unlucky nature Drake carries around. Just a thought, Naughty Dog.
