No one is safe from leaks, ever, so how about we talk about a real Star Wars leak?
Over on NeoGAF, the first trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 leaked and is (at the time of this writing) up on Vimeo, which you can see below. The trailer was set to premiere this weekend at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando. And it features some things missing from the first game that gamers were upset about. Specifically space battles and a campaign.
Throughout the trailer, we catch Tie-Fighters and X-Wings squaring off, the Millennium Falcon and some badass Tuantuans. Of course, it wouldn’t be Star Wars without our favorite heroes. The trailer confirms that we’ll be seeing Yoda, Rey, Darth Maul and Kylo Ren in the sequel with the wordage “fight multiplayer battles – across all eras.”
The last interesting bit comes from the Pre-Order splash screen at the end of the trailer that states, “Pre-Order to get Star Wars: The Last Jedi heroes.” Sounds like we could be playing as Old Man Luke.
