Capcom have recently revealed that the free add-on pack for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard titled “Not a Hero“, will not be released in Spring as previously thought. The news comes from an official video in which game director Koshi Nakanishi explains that the delay is to ensure the add-on meets the high standards set by the main game.
Nakanishi said, “In light of the incredible reception of Resident Evil 7, we concluded that this DLC was not good enough to meet those high expectations”
Capcom went on to state that the add-on will still be available for free when it is released at a later date. No further information was given on when we can expect the DLC though.
The “Not a Hero” DLC follows fan favourite Chris Redfield as he goes on a deadly mission as part of the Umbrella Corporation. Earlier this year the “Banned Footage” DLC packs were released to critical acclaim.
