Fallout 4 VR is Going to be Pretty Damn Good According to AMD Boss

Fallout 4 VR is going to “change the way we think about VR” says AMD Boss, adding that it’s going to be “groundbreaking” in the world of VR.

With Bethesda set to unveil more details about the Fallout 4 VR experience at E3 later this year it seems AMD boss, Roy Taylor has already got his mitts on the game and is loving the hell out of it.

Speaking with MCV, Taylor claims that Fallout 4 VR will be the “Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog” of the VR industry. “It will change the way we think about VR,” he said. “It will be an industry changer.”

Pretty impressive claims, I might add. Though currently Virtual Reality still requires users to pay a hefty chunk in order to get a fantastic experience. Sure, PS VR has enabled more to get their hands on VR, but it’s still yet to break the market completely.

However, Taylor adds that as more generations of VR come, the better the product will be. Fortunately, AMD are working on a solution to one of the problems: Wires. Taylor claims that they’ve come up with a solution.

“One of the most important things we do next is get rid of those pesky wires. I’m very pleased to tell you that AMD has come up with a solution,” he said. This is all thanks to its its newly announced partnership with Nitero, a chip manufacturer specialising in wireless VR. Great news, but apparently it’s still early days.
