Here are your Games with Gold for April 2017

April has rolled around quicker than I expected, so here’s your monthly update on what’s coming to Xbox One players this month.

Having already been available for three days you’re likely already familiar with what’s on offer, but if you’re yet to turn on your consoles this month, then you’re in for a surprise! Remember when the Xbox One launched and they were touting a really cool looking game set in Rome? Do you also remember how poorly received it was?

That’s right, this month for Xbox One players, Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome. While the game is a pretty good looking game, it’s full to the brim of quick-time events. So if you’re a fan of pressing buttons as fast as possible, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick this up.

The other Xbox One offering this month is Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Season 2. You might remember that Season 1 was offered back in October, so if you managed to pick that one up, then you can continue your story in the Second Season for free this month.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 is available from April 16 to May 15.

On Xbox 360, players will be able to grab Darksiders from now until April 15. Then from April 16, they’ll be able to grab Assassin’s Creed Revelations through to April 30. These are also available on Xbox One as Backwards Compatible titles.

Ryse: Son of Rome and Darksiders are available to download right now.
