Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast is about to get a brand new update as the band embark on the final leg of their world tour.
The game, which launched on mobile last year, has players take on a journey through the lore of Iron Maiden’s music in an RPG adventure. With various iterations of the band’s mascot, Eddie, in tow, players battle against various creatures to a soundtrack composed entirely of Iron Maiden’s music.
Now, as the band head on the final stretch of The Book of Souls world tour, Legacy of the Beast is set to get a synergistic player vs player battle arena based on the album of the same name. Players will now be able to take their party online and battle other players’ parties.
Iron Maiden Manager Rod Smallwood says “With Legacy of the Beast we wanted to create something that appealed both to fans of Maiden music and gamers alike, wherever they are in the world, and I think we are well on our way to accomplishing that. The game has kept true to the band’s history and development not only through their music but with Eddie too. This latest feature focussed around our current tour is only the start of many new and exciting innovations we have planned to keep Legacy evolving and becoming even more addictive!”
More features are also planned for the game including new characters such as The Clairvoyant and Trooper Eddie, as well as new social features, and a brand new Night City game world.
