SEGA Europe Ltd have announced the next instalment of the Total War: Warhammer franchise. Total War: Warhammer II will release in 2017 and will feature four new areas to battle across, Naggaroth, Ulthuan, Lustria and The Southlands.
The game is second in the series, which is a collaboration between Creative Assembly and Games Workshop. The series is over 15 years old at this point and is universally acclaimed.
There are four new races to play as; High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen and a fourth yet to be revealed. The game will take place in the continents west of The Old World. There is a new game mode in which new style of narrative campaign in which players race against the other factions to save or destroy the Great Vortex while thwarting competing Races.
An extra map will be available shortly after release for players that own both the original and its sequel. The huge map will combine elements of old and new regions. The game will release for PC in 2017, watch the trailer below:
