Ubisoft has confirmed some major titles today that they plan to release in the next fiscal year. That means each game listed is slated to come out sometime before April 2018. Of that announced included the heavily leaked Assassin’s Creed title, no surprise, the rumored western Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and finally the release of South Park The Fractured But Whole.
Ubisoft boss, Yves Guillemot said today, “In 2017-18 we will see the exciting returns of Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Crew and South Park.”
Details were pretty scarce today without any confirmation of the leaks about Assassin’s Creed or Far Cry 5 that hit recently. Although we’ll likely hear more at Ubisoft’s E3 event which they confirmed today will be on Monday, June 12 at 1pm PT.
The logo for The Crew 2 was shown off on Ubisoft’s forum page for The Crew which can be seen here.
And we’ve known about South Park the Fractured But Whole for a long time now but we’re all patiently awaiting its release. The title has been delayed multiple times without a clear reason. My only guess is that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are re-writing a lot of the game, they like to do that.
