Niantic is rolling out another event for Pokemon Go that gives players a better chance to find rock-type Pokemon.
The latest event for the popular mobile game raises the chances of finding Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl and other uncommon, fossilized pocket monsters. Those Pokemon plus Onix and Sudowoodo will be more common throughout the week. The event starts May 18, and runs til May 25 at 1 PM PST. That gives players a full week to increase the amount of rock-type Pokemon they have.
Also coming with the update are PokeStop bonuses, PokeStops will reward players with more items. The in game shop will be running a deal on Poke Balls, as well. Poke Balls will be 50% off for players to stock up quickly so they don’t miss out on the ancient monsters. Another bonus is that your Buddy Pokemon will find candies four times as fast for the duration of the event. And lastly, each player will receive an in-game clothing item to gear up for the event: an Adventurer’s Hat.
Seems like it’s time to get back into the hunting spirit as these hard to find Pokemon are becoming more common for the week. I know I’ll be out trying to get one of each because I have yet to catch any of the Pokemon listed in the event.
