Rockstar has delayed just about every game they’ve produced in the last decade and their next big title will be no different. Rockstar has announced today that they will be delaying Red Dead Redemption 2 to a new release window, “Spring 2018.”

This should come as no surprise as this is the first update we’ve heard from Rockstar about Red Dead Redemption 2 since they first showed the game back in October 2016. And it’s an announcement us at n3rdabl3 (me especially) have been waiting for.

The publisher made this statement today:

“Red Dead Redemption 2 is now set to launch Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One … We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.”

Here are the shots that accompany the bad news. Looks like we’ll all be waiting a little bit longer for the big western.
