Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter XX will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, and here’s a trailer to show you exactly what a 3DS game will look like on the console.
A brand new trailer and gameplay footage has been unveiled for the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter XX which shows a much cleaner version of the game. Of course, given that the Nintendo Switch only has one screen, the most notable difference is the UI changes.
The good news for owners of Monster Hunter XX on the Nintendo 3DS is that this and the Switch version of the game will be able to swap save data as well as allowing players to play alongside each other online. Even players of Monster Hunter Generations will be able to transfer their data to the newer version of the game on either platform, which is fantastic news.
The game is currently set to launch in Japan on August 25. There’s currently no word on a Western release just yet, though it’s entirely likely that something will come at E3.
