DUCKTALES - Disney's "DuckTales," an all-new animated comedy series based on the Emmy Award-winning series, will again star Disney's enduringly popular characters: Scrooge McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Donald Duck. Disney XD has revealed the premier date for their upcoming DuckTales reboot as well as the show’s new opening title sequence, and posters.

DuckTales is set to premier on Disney XD with a one-our television movie on Saturday, August 12 at midnight EDT/PDT, and will be presented for 24 consecutive hours, the movie will be titled “Woo-oo!”.

Following this, then the show will begin with two new episodes on Saturday, September 23 from 7:00 am EDT/PDT. Each show will also be available via the Disney XD app and Disney XD VOD. The show will also be presented in 34 languages in 162 countries on Disney XD channels and Disney Channels worldwide.

To celebrate the news, Disney has released the show’s opening theme which has a new version of the classic DuckTales introduction, plus a look at the show’s animations, check it out below:

It also looks like Disney is going all-out with its promotion of the series as a new feature titled “DuckTales: All Ducked Out!” will launch in the Disney XD app and on Disney LOL in July and will allow fans to create their own DuckTales avatar.

Donald Duck will also be making an appearance in Angry Birds, beginning August 3, and brand new DuckTales books as well as comics IDW will be launching, the comics will initially release as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive in July, with a worldwide launch to follow.

Basically, if you love DuckTales, you’ll be able to find almost everything DuckTales this summer.
