Bandai Namco are set to open dedicated VR arcades in Japan and London with more planned further down the line. The first, will open next month in Tokyo and will be called VR Zone Shinjuku. The arcade will cover two floors of a building and feature over 15 VR experiences as well as a food court.
There’s also plans to open a London location this summer with plans to open more oversees. Attractions featured at the arcade will include Ghost in the Shell, Dragon Ball Z and even Mario Kart VR.
The arcade will feature HTC Vive Headsets as well as controller devices allowing for motion control and hand tracking. There will also be game-specific booths like cylcling machines and steering wheels.
Bandai Namco intends to run VR Zone Shinjuku until March 2019. You can check out the VR Zone trailer below;
