During Sony’s E3 media briefing this week, Capcom announced Monster Hunter: World, the latest entry into the Monster Hunter RPG series.
Monster Hunter: World is set to bring a “living, breathing ecosystem” to the world of Monster Hunter as players hunt down, well, monsters, in massive battles that’ll unfold across an ever-changing land.
In the game players can embark on their monster hunting journeys alone or with upto three other players in a newly designed drop-in multiplayer system which allows cross-region cooperative play between Japan and The West. What’s more, Monster Hunter: World will be the first Monster Hunter game to launch simultaneously worldwide in Early 2017.
Monster Hunter: World will feature everything players know and love from the series including a robust crafting system, skill-based progression, and a huge open world.
