UK Gaming Charts: Horizon Zero Dawn Swoops into First Place

After a bit of dancing in and out of the UK Gaming Charts, Horizon Zero Dawn has shot up to first place this week thanks to price promotions across the UK.

Last week’s number one, Wipeout: Omega Collection falls down to fifth place as Nintendo’s springy fighting game, Arms, lands in second place. Despite missing a shot at the top spot, Arms has achieved the fourth biggest Switch launch week, behind The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and 1-2-Switch.

In third place, Grand Theft Auto 5 is sitting pretty strong, though the amount that’s been going on in that game over the past couple of months, I’m not surprised. DiRT 4 continues its fall down the charts in fourth place this week.

The only other new release this week is MotoGP 17 which debuts in eighteenth place.

Here’s the full rundown:

  1. Horizon Zero Dawn
