EGX 2017 Will Have a Bigger Board Game Area Thanks to Playopolis

The Gamer Network confirmed today that board games will have a much bigger presence at EGX 2017 this year and it’s all thanks to board game café and online store, Playopolis.

While the show has always had a solid board game area, it looks like this year it’s going to be even bigger with Playopolis on board with EGX 2017 hosting the largest board games feature in the event’s history. The company plan to create a board games library at the event this year offering a selection of both popular and new tabletop games.

Attendees will be able to grab a game of their choice and take some time away from the show floor to play the game at a nearby table before returning it when they’ve done. Players can also purchase some games at the stand.

The Playopolis Library will sit along side long-time face of board games at the event, Esdevium Games, that’ll continue to offer several tables with games set up and ready to play.

EGX 2017 is set to be held at the NEC in Birmingham on the September 21 to 24.
