An exciting new cinematic trailer from ex-Bioshock developers, Uppercut, has just been released!
City of Brass, which is set in a mystical desert landscape, is a game that looks like it’ll be some sort of cross between Bioshock, Prince of Persia, and Arabian Nights. In true Bioshock-like fashion, you can expect a weird but creative universe to explore in this FPS that also happens to have a permadeath feature, challenging it’s players to get as far as they can before to the creepy looking inhabitants.
Armed with only a whip and a scimitar, in the trailer you can watch to combat spirits, avoid traps and of course restock from wacky vendors – in this case, genies! But as per usual in these desert type games, your main mission will be to get deep into the city and discover the ultimate treasure.
What do you think of this new release? While it’ll be available for purchase on PC in Fall 2017, a 2018 release is being planned for PS4 and Xbox One!
