Layton’s Mystery Journey will cost £16 on Mobile

Level-5 has revealed the pricing of Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy when it lands on mobile worldwide on July 20.

For those of you wanting to dive into Professor Layton’s latest mystery game as soon as possible, it’ll be launching first, worldwide, on iOS and Android. This will then be followed by a Nintendo 3DS release later in the year. And the mobile version isn’t going to be cheap.

Level-5 has revealed the pricing to Layton’s Mystery Journey on iOS and Android as £15.99. It’s pretty unsurprising considering the game has been developed from the ground up for mobile devices and is likely just as feature-packed as the Nintendo 3DS release which would probably retail for around £35.

“LAYTON’S MYSTERY JOURNEY delivers wonderful stories, colorful characters and challenging puzzles in the most accessible game in the PROFESSOR LAYTON series yet,” said Yukari Hayakawa, Chief Operation Officer at LEVEL-5 abby Inc. “We’ve built Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy from the ground up for mobile devices and are looking forward to giving puzzle fans around the world the chance to experience the highly entertaining and deep puzzle adventure experience.”

In addition to the pricing, Level-5 have released an English trailer for the game which you can see below:
