Epic’s Zombie Survival Game, Fortnight, Gets a Cinematic Trailer

Epic Games have released a brand new cinematic trailer for their zombie survival game, Fortnight, and it looks spectacular.

Fortnite is a free-to-play co-op survival game that’s been in development for what seems like forever. The game has been in alpha for a good couple of years and now finally looks like it’s on its way.

In a brand new cinematic trailer we get to see the basic premise of the game: an ominous purple thunder cloud is on its way so the Fortnite squad to batten down the hatches and prepare for a zombie onslaught, thus a battle ensues with zombies turning into purple mist left, right, and centre.

Much like any good video game, it’s not all over as a big bad boss dude comes smashing into the place. Fortunately he’s no match for our heroes.

From the trailer above, the four heroes sure do look charismatic. I’m pretty excited for this game.

Fortnite is making its way into paid early access on July 25, on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac. Players who pre-order the Founder’s Pack will be given a four-day head start on July 21 as well as the Storm Master Weapon Pack.

The game is set to launch as a free-to-play title in 2018.
