As has come to be expected of new entries into the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty WW2 (releasing later this year) will have its own Zombies mode. We finally have some more information on it after an apparent leak has revealed the trailer for the game mode.
Sledgehammer Games had started teasing the mode early this week with clues but it seems we won’t need any more. The leaked video shows combat with the new zombies and a creepy voice over from a man we can only assume is the creator of the new monsters. He speaks of creating this army to serve the creative of the Fourth Reich (the successor to Nazi Germany) so it may occur in another timeline.
The trailer not only shows the standard zombie fair we’re come to expect but also a tougher boss type enemy that has become a staple of Zombies. The boss appears to be much bigger than standard zombies and have a melee weapon. Terrifying.
The look and feel seems really on point based on the video – suitably scary but just enough for you to want to bash some zombie heads in.
The official release of the trailer for the Army of the Dead was set to happen on Thursday 20 July at San Diego Comic Con but it seems fans have been treated to it five days early.
