Ubisoft has announced that an open beta will soon begin for a brand new PvP mode coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Titled “Ghost War”, this new PvP mode will pit two squads of four players against each other in a “team deathmatch experience” which will build on the tactical gameplay found in Wildlands. Teams will be able to choose from a series of different classes which will each have specific roles out in battle, as they’re then set loose across the huge open-world maps.
Ghost War will include new PvP mechanics too such as suppressing fire and sound markers to allow for a true tactical and strategic gameplay experience.
The open beta is set to take place in the summer ahead of the mode’s launch, completely free of charge for Wildlands owners, later this fall.
