Ultra Ultra, a new studio created by developers from IO Interactive, has revealed details about its upcoming game – Echo.

In Echo, you play as En, a traveller heading to The Palace, a legendary and ancient location in space, to discover the secrets it might hold. En is inexperienced with space travel and has been in stasis while travelling to The Palace for 100 years.

The game is a character driven story which puts you in the shoes of En as she begins to unravel the secrets of The Palace and realises that The Palace doesn’t necessarily want her there. In fact, The Palace creates Echoes of En’s former actions as enemies to stop her getting the information she came from.

Clearly inspired by Hitman, the gameplay trailer shows En taking down copies of herself (mostly by stealth) and exploring a creepy, surreal Palace. But don’t just take our word for it – check out the gameplay trailer below:

Echo will release for PlayStation 4 and PC on September 19.
