More Hints Suggest Crash Bandicoot’s Arrival on Xbox One

Another little slip up has added more fuel to fire that is the rumour of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy coming to Xbox One.

Ahead of the launch of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on PS4 and PS4 Pro, many rumours started to surface suggesting that Activision also plan to launch the game on Xbox One too.

The latest little hint comes via Vicarious Visions artist, Kara Visa, who shared a video of the save / load screen she created onto her portfolio. At first, the screen doesn’t seem that odd, but you’ll quickly notice that the game has Xbox control inputs.

The video has since been taken down, but there’s an image of the scene which you can see below, courtesy of Press Start.

While on its own it might seem like nothing, perhaps some in-development footage using generic input buttons before finally switching them out for PlayStation ones near the end of the development. But this is just one of many slip ups.

The first came via an Xbox One listing on Hungarian game site SuperGamer. The second came via Sony themselves when PlayStation Ireland wrote that it would be “coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro first,” though they quickly corrected themselves saying that it’s a PS4 exclusive.

Again, all pretty easy to explain away by themselves, but the evidence keeps mounting up. Surely an announcement is on the cards soon?

It would make sense for Activision to launch the game on Xbox One considering how successful the game has become in the UK on PS4. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is currently sitting in first place for the fourth time this week.
