Activision and Respawn Entertainment have finally unveiled the trailer for the upcoming Zombies mode that’ll be found in Call of Duty: WW2 and it looks terrifying.
After a week of teases and leaks, the trailer is officially here showing the Army of the Dead zombies mode in all of its decaying and bloody glory. As previously seen the mode will focus on a nefarious plot masterminded by the Axis to harness the occult and create an army of undead.
As previously announced, Army of the Dead will feature an all-star cast which will feature the voices and likeness of David Tennant (Dr. Who, Broadchurch), Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Daredevil), Katheryn Winnick (Vikings, The Dark Tower) Udo Kier (Blade, Melancholia), and Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation) as our playable heroes, and Udo Kier (Blade, Melancholia) as the game’s antagonist.
“With Nazi Zombies, we’re creating a frightening world full of terrifying characters and events that will make you jump and look over your shoulder. There’s an incredible amount of myth and lore, which our team has poured through in our development,” said Glen Schofield, Studio Head and Co-Founder of Sledgehammer Games. “This is unlike anything before, we’re taking players to some very dark, grim places in Nazi Zombies. This is one hell of a horror experience.”
Honestly, it sounds like Sledgehammer Games could bring the Nazi Zombies mode to some new terrifying heights, and I’m pretty excited.
Call of Duty: WW2 launches on November 2 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
