Bandai Namco has this week confirmed the launch date for their latest Dragon Ball fighter, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch launch of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set for September 22. This version of the game will include a number of new features including compatibility with the Joy-Con motion controls, local ad-hoc mutliplayer, and local battles with 2 Joy-Cons on one system. Not to mention the ability to play the game on the go.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 28 last year. It improved on the formula already established in the first game but this time offered many more social features and even more battles for players to have a part in.
Currently the game is awaiting its fourth content drop in the form of DLC 4 which will come with two new characters, as well as a new Warrior of Hope storyline. Playable stages, parallel quests, costumes, skills, and much more also come with this DLC.
There’s currently no word on whether the Nintendo Switch version will also come with these DLC options.
