Disney has given a first look at their highly anticipated Star Wars land attractions currently in development in California and Florida.
At Disney’s D23 Expo, which is currently being held in Anaheim, California, the company unveiled a huge 50-foot wide 3D model of the proposed Star Wars land which will cover around 14 acres of land. The area is set to transport guests to “a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.”
The two Star Wars-inspired lands are due to be opened in 2019 at Disneyland in Anaheim, and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Disney World in Orlando.
In these two areas, there’ll be two main attractions, aside from the spectacularly designed location itself. The first will have guests pilot the Millennium Falcon on a mission and the other will throw guests deep in the middle of a “climatic battle” between the First Order and the Resistance.
