PES 2018 marks a new shift for the franchise, introducing a new cooperative 3v3 online mode. The beta will run on both PS4 and Xbox One. Interestingly a PS Plus account is not required for PlayStation players but Xbox One players will need an Xbox Live account in order to gain access. The game will be Brazil vs France and will feature both 1v1 and 3v3 matches playable Day/Night in Fine weather or Rain.
Last week, it was announced that Luis Suarez would be this year’s cover star on the Special Edition of the game, with the bulk of the Barcelona team making up the Standard Edition. You can read our hands on impressions of the game here and stay tuned for more PES news still to come.
PES 2018 launches September 12 (US) and September 14 (EU/Asia) for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
