Ysbryd games have announced that when their renaissance-era tactical RPG Maquerada: Songs and Shadows launches for consoles, their will be bonus added content. The game released on PC last year and is due to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 8.
The bonus content in question comes in he form of a New Game+ mode. This mode will add new fights into the game, including one involving a giant chicken boss. There will also be additional scenes and extended dialogue as well as new abilities for the main character Cicero. After the update, Cicero is now able to equip skills from all four elements.
Masquerada: Songs and Shadows features an eclectic voice cast including Felicia Day, Matt Mercer, Jennifer Hale, Dave Fennoy, Ashly Burch and is set during Renaissance-era Greece. In the world of Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, people do not believe in an after-life. A hero named Cicero discovers the Mascherines, magical masks that grant extraordinary powers and use them in tactical Real-Time Combat battles. Cicero can battle with the help of his four companions, opening up elemental combos using the party’s unique skill trees.
