Activision has recently announced the dates for the upcoming Private Beta for Call of Duty: WW2, now here’s a look at what’s included.
The Private Beta is set to take place on August 25 on PlayStation 4 for those who have pre-ordered the game. Another beta will be held on September 1 for Xbox One and PS4 players, again for those who have pre-ordered.
But what exactly is included in the Call of Duty: WW2 Beta?
Three multiplayer maps will be playable; Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes and Gibraltar, and a total of three modes will be playable; Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint. The Private Beta will also include a taste of the new War Mode.
“War, developed in partnership with our friends at Raven Software, is a new way to play Call of Duty Multiplayer in an immersive Allied vs. Axis fight across the war-torn village of St. Lo, France,” Sledgehammer said.
Beta players will also get to experience Divisions, the replacement for the long-running Pick 10 class system. These classes will come in the form of five factions; Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored or Mountain Division, each of which have their own unique abilities and weapons.
Unfortunately those hoping to get a glimpse at the Headquarters social space as well as the game’s supply drops, you’ll be disappointed as they won’t be available in the beta.
