Daniel Craig is to play super spy James Bond once again, he has announced on the US broadcast The Late Show on Tuesday. However the British actor, 49, has said this will be his last outing as the spy.
The news comes 2 years after Craig infamously said he’d rather “slash (his) wrists” that return to the role. He revealed to the audience that he was offered the role for the next feature as soon as filming had wrapped up on the last film, Spectre, and exclaimed that “instead of saying something with style and grace, I said something really stupid.”
After applause, Craig added “I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note and I can’t wait.” Daniel Craig will now begin work on the new feature which is due out in November 2019, with Director Yann Demange rumoured to be attached to the project.
