Gamescom has been awash with news today, with Bandai Namco dishing the dirt on some new Dragon Ball FighterZ information.
Bandai Namco have released a bunch of information about their upcoming fighter, Dragon Ball FighterZ including details on the European CollectorZ Edition, the game’s Story Mode, as well as pre-order and closed beta details.
European Dragon Ball FighterZ players in Europe will be able to grab the CollectorZ Edition for Xbox One and PS4. This edition will come with a 18cm Goku diorama with “Manga Dimension” colouring. It’ll also come with three arts boards and a unique Steelbook case.
For those who pre-order the CollectorZ Edition as well as the Standard Edition, they’ll receive early access to the January Open Beta, as well as an early unlock of two characters: SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta. They’ll also receive two exclusive lobby avatars.
In addition, a brand new trailer has also been released which shows off the game’s story mode, as well as some new characters and the Party Match mode. In the trailer Android 16 and the duo Android 17/Android 18 will be joining the fight. Party March is also revealed which has players taking control of all six characters during the intense 3ve matches.
As for the Closed Beta, Xbox One and PS4 players can now finally register for the closed beta which is scheduled for September 16 and 17. They’ll be able to play online with 11 playable characters including: SS Goku, SS Vegeta, SS Teen Gohan, Cell, Majin Buu, Frieza (Final form), Future Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 18 and Android 16.
