Niantic, Inc. and The Pokémon Company International have announced that more Legendary Pokémon are coming to the hit mobile game, Pokémon Go.
Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will soon be appearing around the world in Pokémon Go, with players having the chance to battle and capture these Legendary monsters. As usual, they’ll be available in Pokémon Raid Battles in Gyms across the world spending up to a month in a region.
From August 31 to September 20, Electric-type Raikou will be available through the Americas, Fire-type Entei will be coming to Europe and Africa, while Water-type Suicune will be battled through the Asia-Pacific region. From September 30 through to October 31 these Pokémon will switch regions, and again on October 31 wilkl make their way to the remaining locations.
In addition, the EX Raid Battle feature will also be getting a field test in selected areas before coming to players worldwide. This field test will allow Niantic to fine-tune the new system. These battles will arrive in select areas and will only be accessible by players who receive an invite after defeating a Raid Battle in the same location as the EX Raid Battle.
“Beginning soon, Trainers in select areas will begin to receive an EX Raid Pass for an opportunity to experience the new feature and provide feedback. To stay up-to-date on the EX Raid Battle field-test, make sure to follow Pokémon GO on Twitter or to like it on Facebook,” wrote Niantic.
