LawBreakers is struggling to find new players as the game’s concurrent player numbers on Steam have dipped incredibly low.
Despite being marketed as the next big skill-based shooter, it looks like PC players aren’t impressed as concurrent player numbers on Steam this week have dipped below 500 at only 431 in the last 24 hours. At launch, LawBreakers had peak player numbers of around 2,500, so things aren’t going too well for the game on PC.
Despite low numbers, at launch I personally never struggled to find a game, but with numbers dipping below 500 it’s looking increasingly likely that players will have a much longer wait time, and will inevitably drop out.
Boss Key Productions haven’t revealed PS4 player numbers, which presumably is a little higher than this. Regardless, the game is struggling on PC and it’ll be interesting to see how the game evolves in the future to pull in more players.
Though I’m assuming we’ll see the inevitable free-to-play shift.
