The London Games Festival is set to return in April 2018 following a successful 2017 event, plans to be bigger and better than before.
Following the success of the London Games Festival 2017, which saw over 50,000 people flock to the city-wide celebration which spanned over 40 events, organiser Games London has announced that festival is set to return in 2018.
From April 5 to April 15 gaming fans can expect to find a much bigger programme of outdoor events as well as even more offerings for the game development community. Some of these offerings will include the third Games Finance Market which helps connect games studios with global investors.
Now Play This, a festival which will offer work and experimental game design at Somerset House will also be there, and of course EGX Rezzed will be making a return to Tobacco Dock on April 13 to April 15. Finally, the BAFTA Games Awards will also be taking place on April 12 at Troxy.
Since January 2016, Games London has managed to connect 145 games business in the UL with 109 global investors, bringing over £30 million in potential business back to local companies.
