Capcom have today confirmed that Resident Evil Revelations will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this month. This is then followed by a release in late 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.
Resident Evil Revelations is set to land on PS4 and Xbox One complete with a “smoother” 1080p resolution, improved framerate, better visuals, and refined creature movement. According to Capcom this is the best that Resident Evil Revelations has looked.
This new console release will also include all previously released downloadable content as unlockable rewards. The game’s popular co-op Raid Mode is also returning allowing players to join friends online to take on waves of enemies.
Finally the game will include four controller schemes based on control types from across the entire series will be available to suit all players old and new.
In Resident Evil Revelations series veterans Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield return as they explore the abandoned “Queen Zenobia” cruise ship, however in typical Resident Evil fashion, it’s not all as it seems.
In addition to the PS4 and Xbox One release, Capcom has also revealed that both Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in “late 2017”. So Switch players can play both the original and the follow up for the first time on the console.
