Middle-Earth: Shadow of War let slip its monsters in a new cinematic trailer, entitled ‘Monsters of Mordor’ released at Gamescom this week.
Shadow of War’s last trailer detailed the Terror Tribe, one of the games many orc tribes that can be encountered within the world of Shadow of War. Now the spotlight falls upon the world’s monsters in new footage released by Monolith and Warner Bros. Interactive during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2017 presentation.
‘Monsters of Mordor’ highlights the more savage side of the game-world, featuring trolls, dragons, giant spiders, and even an intimidating Balrog that players will have to come face to face with. The trailer also illustrates how some of these creatures will be controllable, thanks to co-protagonists Talion and Celebrimbor, showing how these creatures can be ridden as mounts.
With Middle-Earth: shadow of War already set to pit the player against hordes of vicious Orcs and minions of Sauron, these new additions to the game’s pool of enemies are sure to cause even more havoc to us all as we fight our way through the heart of Mordor.
Middle-Earth: shadow of War is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC October 10.
