Compulsion Games has this week announced a partnership with Gearbox Publishing to bring their drug-induced adventure, We Happy Few, to full release and retail.

We Happy Few is set to launch out of Early Access on April 13, 2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game will feature more content than ever, including a full-length campaign, as well as three playable characters. This is set to offer 250 unique encounters, so players will have plenty to do in the game.

Each of these playable characters will have their own strengths and secrets to explore, and will attempt to survive the Joy-induced towns folk of Wellington Wells.

With this partnership, Compulsion Games continues to retain all creative control over We Happy Few as it evolves from a crowdfunding digital success to a worldwide multi-platform retail launch.

Players can now pre-order their digital or physical copies of the game with a 15% discount at participating retailers. Those who do pre-order will receive the Jolly Brolly parasol weapon. Microsoft Store, Steam,, and Humble Store customers will also gain access to the alpha version of the game at the time of pre-order. Windows 10 Store pre-orders will gain access to the alpha when it becomes available to pre-order later this year. Finally, PS4 pre-orders will receive an exclusive theme.
