Ubisoft has today released the largest update in Rainbow Six Siege history, Operation Blood Orchid, which brings with it overall improvements to the game, as well as three new operators and a brand new map.
Although the patch notes for the update have been released already, here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming in Operation Blood Orchid. A bunch of improvements to the game’s lighting system is incoming, as well as an overhaul of how the game looks. While there aren’t many gameplay changes, Rainbow Six Siege will now look even better than before.
In terms of content, there are three new operators on the way, two from the Special Duties Unit, Ying and Lesion, as well as one from Poland’s Special Forces GROM, Ela Bosak, who comes from the cancelled Poland expansion.
Finally, there’s a brand new map that’s free to everyone titled Theme Park, which as you can probably guess, has players battling it out in a theme park.
This update follows the huge Operation Health update which happened a few weeks back bringing overall improvements to gameplay. It’s nice to see Ubisoft putting so much commitment into a game which is coming up to its second anniversary this December.
